CO – Founder and Manager
Fernando has 10 years’ experience as a Tour Leader in Peru. Having graduated with a degree in Communication Sciences from la Universidad San Antonio Abad del Cusco, and a Master’s degree in Environment and Natural Resources, Fernando is an expert among professional tour guides. Fernando once traveled through Europe, the USA and Egypt, and returned home to Peru only to be astonished by its natural, historical, cultural and gastronomical wealth. His experience allows him to share rare and select information with travelers, an authentic native perspective on Peru, its customs, traditions, living cultures. He believes that if guides are both cultural ambassadors of Peru, and if the industry practices sustainability and responsible tourism, we can generate real change in our country. Path Travel Peru represents an opportunity to take the traveler through our history and share our experiences; it is a company that offers us the possibility to offer to the traveler true immersion experiences in the everyday culture and life of Peru.
Juan studied his elementary school at La Merced School, studied tourism at the Andean University of Cusco, worked more than 20 years leading tourism groups in both traditional and adventure tourism. His philosophy in tourism is the conservation of the environment, respect for the pachamama; trying to make social inclusion tourism with rural areas. The important thing when the clients finish the services have a philosophy of respect and learning with nature in turn to share the cultural experience with each of my future visitors.
